The village of Burnhaupt-le-Haut has been part of the Community of Municipalities of the Doller Valley and Soultzbach since its creation in 2002.  The Doller and Soultzbach Valley, the southernmost of the Alsatian Vosges, brings together 17 municipalities in an exceptional and preserved environment.

The Community of Municipalities of the Valley of the Doller and Soultzbach aims to develop space, economic development, enhancement of the environment, school, sports, social and cultural life, as well as as well as access to new communication technologies.
